Beautiful EVIL
Fantastic Instrumentation and Groove
It makes me want to get up and move, and I'm not much for dancing! The backing vocals are very cool. Fans of the Velvets, Nick Drake and even Santana will definitely dig this.
The interaction between the horns and the piano is one of my favorite aspects of this song.

Nice style
Like the constant barage of lyrics in the beginning. Kind of knock you over and beat you into submission ... you have to listen. Very laid back sound. Nice backing vocals and remarkable piano piano and horns.

The beat and instrumentation are excellent. I especially enjoyed the piano and female vox. As a group you sound very tight- and the song is structurally perfect.

nice horns
I like it. Good vocal sound, it fits with the song, very vintage. i like the whole old feel of this song, good production too. I think the vocals could be brought out a little bit, the backing vocals seem more powerful than the lead. I'm not crazy about the repetivness of the lyrics but overall i think this a good song from good musicians who really know their instruments. this is very original

The Epitomy of Smooth
This song conjures evenings at the Copa. This mix is great. A tight band is what shines in this recording. Great backing vocals. The harmonies are at perfect intervals. The two voices singing during the solosection is powerful with the unison passages. The traditional sounds and licks from the band explores new areas in an already groovy style.

Saucy Surprise
I was ready to salsa when it first kicked in but the vocals threw me back. Not in a bad way! I didn't expect that voice to sing this song. The strange rustic quality gave me a glimpse of Mutations-era "Beck". The backing vocals threw me for a bit of a loop.

Out on the town with the Jazz Band
Nightclub Jazz anyone? Sounds live, with an intro of a honking, skillfully played sax, nice Gene Krupa drum rolls, a male singer assisted by nice female back-ups. The music sounds tight yet still improvisational.

Film worthy!!!
This music makes me feel good. The voice is very Lou Reed. This would be great for a movie soundtrack. The musicianship is great. I know what you are going for and you are pulling it off. You have to do something different to stand out and I love that you aren't afriad to do that. Hats off to your drummer. The Backing vocals are on point and the sax is the perfect touch. I like it a lot guys. The sax solo is great too. Go way out!! Go! Go! Go! I would be dissapointed if I didn't see this on a film in the near future.
