Gold
Well recorded bass. Organ sounds amazing. The vocals are well sung and have a lot of feel to it. This song is so Blues. Back-up singers really add to the song. A good chorus. Oh, that Organ! AWESOME! I miss hearing that in music. The Drummer and the bass player have it together somethin fierce. The song is Gold, The band is soon to be legendary.

Something
Leonard Cohen vocal
SONG: Slick groove with sultry female backing vocals. Big organ sound with upright bass and jazzy drum style. Guitar played mostly rhythm. Keys were the soloist for this tune. I loved it! Female voice could have been a little thicker, but the rest of the recording was good. Best parts were the drums and vocals. This song had no transitions that stood out above the rest, just a grooving jazz blues beat with accenting vocals. COOL DADDY

a full muscial blues how to song
balance in production is amazing. vocals blended into song extremely well, makes the listener really tune ears to lyrics, organ and bass brought the whole production to an over all 5. and the drumming was WORTH listening to had beat down and was not off at all. MOVIE SOUNDTRACK HERE

Soulful Sound
You guys got SOUL! The drums set up the rhythm and kept the beat in the right place. The organ was definitely the center piece in this tune. The organ really made this tune - it's soulful sound set the mood and the guitar added a carefree attitude to the tune. It all came together very nicely with a good sound - Man! that organ was wailing! This tune could cross over in to the jazz genre and feel right at home in the cool jazz and bebop of the sixties with Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Great job.

Something

ultra cool explained
Love the lurking organ and muted guitar vamp. Along with the Tom Waite inspired vocal this track is all about the vibe. Good drumming and rhythm section in general. I'm finding myself smiling as I listen to this song. The soul sisters on the background vocal continue with the retro blues sound. While the arrangement is a bit aimless, and the structure of the tune is relaxed at best, this is a mood piece, and the mood is oh-so-cool. I need to pour myself a whiskey now. Good work!

Something
Jazzy sounds
The organ is played extremely well and sounds good in the mix. It sounds like your sound is built around the organ player, and that's a good thing. The guitar player sounds as talented though. Very jazz club sound. Good listening, relaxing music. Production sounds fine.

Six o'clock blue
i love the fact that almost every blues song has got some sad story and so does this one...In listening with this song i am seeing this brother sitting on stage doing a live blues gig. the production is loose not in a bad way but a general reflection sometimes of location. This sounds like a good live recording.. the vocalist is being cool cause he is also palying the part of an entertainer and doing good vocal.. the harmond player is steady and the whole band is playing and singing the bluesy asses off....

Something
Smooth
This is a suprisingly good track. I like the vocal delivery beceause it is not trying to be anything other then what it is which is cool and chill. Cool song too. The female vocal doubled unison thing is creative and well exacuted. The vintage drum tone is nice and natural. The players are def. good. The groove and the flow of the trio could be deeper. I like this kind of thing when it's played like it's the end of the 3rd set in a new orleans cat house.

Something
nice organ
First thing i notice is that nice sounding organ. The groove has a sort of soulive feel or medeski feel to it, which i like, I'm not sure how blues this song is, but why not. THe melody is nice, the singer reminds me of zz top a little. Good playing, liking the organ solo. Didn't expect the female backup singers. That was an interesting touch. I could listen to the organ player all day. My only complaint at this time is that i wish there were another change or chorus or something the song would go to. Other than that, good song, nice recording.

Something
Nice
This song has a great jazzy feel to it. The guitar tone is great and the vocals are really "lounge-y" and "stone-y" and the backup vocals and a very nice touch. Killer organ solo. I can't help but to bob my head and groov to it.

Something
Moody Experience
I loved where this song takes me when I close my eyes. I feel like I'm there with the band in the middle of a smokey pub grooving to this jam. The organ is not so powerful to drown out the mood of this song except for the solo (which fit perfect). The mood is very sensual and mystic. Where can I buy the album?

Locked in!
The sound of this song is to die for!!! The way the drums are recored just blow this song wide open..warm and round with absolutly no compression....The way it should be! The organ on this tune is the main star here and man can this cat can play but not to the point of over excess. The mix on this tune is very pro with everything being balanced well. The only down side is the vocals...Not that there bad but just not to the calibur as the rest of the band...this band deserves a class A vocalist! Great job guys!!!

Something
WOW!
I loved this tune! It was so different and kind of smooth at the same time. I like the guitar sound, loved the organ, liked the drums, the bass was a little too weak though. The vocals are intriguing. The only improvement I would make is to extend the vocals another measure before the first organ break. It comes too fast. We're just getting comfortable with the vocals and trying to figure it out when it stops for a break...I say go another measure and then the break will seem worth the wait. Excellent song...I wouldn't change anything...I liek the fact the song was pulled off without any guitar riffs at all....nice change...I kept hunting for the guitar ...but it never came...so it made me anxious till the end...nice work!.

Something
Making it funky
Very cool intro. Good sign of things to come. Vocal doesn't disappoint. Upfront, worldly, takes command. Kinda Dr. John, Tom Waits feel. I like the lyrics. Here's the background vocals. Sure. Adds to the party flavour. That Hammond B-3 sound is real sweet. This band has played some bars and it shows. "The way you wear your clothes, drives me crazy". Ah yes.... Organ = A+. Mood = A+. Sound A-. I'd pay the cover to see this band.
